«NEAR IN EUROPE» :an innovative project experimenting "soft skills", those "social" or transversal competences that make all the difference to get into professional life !

Self-confidence, team work, leadership, stress management, adaptability, motivation... the list may be long, even if, in the academic context as in companies, we agree to keep only the main "soft skills", as the complement to the knowledge and know-how acquired during a school or vocational training course.

Therefore "soft skills" complement "hard skills", i.e. the academic and/or technical skills acquired during school education. Thus they are a major challenge for students and especially for those who are engaged in professional training, particularly in apprenticeship.

More than an introduction to soft skills, «NEAR IN EUROPE» provides concrete elements for pedagogical teams and their students to improve and promote their personal skills in order to validate these soft skills in their training assessments.
