Building on the continuity of a workshop dedicated to teachers from partner institutions, which took place in Palestrina, Italy in April 2022, a new meeting has just been organized in Scotland from September 13 to 16, 2022, hosted by one of the partner high schools in this project.
The six partners of this project came together to implement the first "Student Workshop 1" and thus test the first activities and educational resources selected and previously worked on by European teachers from the 4 partner European high schools.
This workshop took place in a particular context, coinciding with the funeral of Queen Elizabeth II. Despite this period of national mourning, participants were nevertheless able to fully engage in cultural activities, educational sessions, and moments of reflection focused on sustainable development.

Student engagement: integrating sustainable development
This first "Student Workshop" prompted the 24 selected students from the four countries to reflect on and express their views on their personal activities and their environmental impact. Through activities like "Green Jeans" and "MacKay Carbon Calculator," young students were able to discover tangible ways to assess their actions.

Enrichment of teachers: exchange of practices
Thanks to sessions on the use of services (emails, transportation, etc.) provided by the Danish partner, teachers discovered new educational tools. Teachers and students worked together after participating in a preparatory workshop conducted by one of the experts in this project.
Cultural aspect: Edinburgh hosts the E3E workshops
During this meeting, numerous cultural activities were organized, some of them outdoors, promoting the discovery of the city. Guided tours of Edinburgh's Old Town highlighted its rich historical heritage, while a Scottish meal served as a festive prelude to an introduction to the Ceilidh (folk dance ball)!
