Launch of the project “NEAR in Europe” in Dijon

The kick-off meeting of the Erasmus+ project "NEAR in Europe" took place in Dijon on 19 and 20 December 2019, in the premises of the GIP-FTLV de Bourgogne.

"NEAR in Europe" is a project developed jointly by the Europe International department and the Apprenticeship Training Center of the National Education in Burgundy (CFA-EN en Bourgogne), with the aim of promoting the European mobility of apprentices.

At the beginning of 2019, five European partners decided to join forces and commit themselves to a common objective: facilitate the mobility of apprentices, by helping high schools, training centers and their teams to create good conditions to this type of mobility. In addition to a preparatory pedagogical engineering, three mobility flows will be organized for young apprentices selected in each of the partner countries, namely France, Spain, Latvia and Portugal.

This seminar was the first of five meetings scheduled for the two-year duration of the project. For the teams it was an opportunity to get to know each other and to begin the preparation of the first apprentice mobility during several workshops. Three high schools of the academy were involved in this preparation phase: the Claudie Haigneré high school in Blanzy, the Eugène Guillaume high school in Montbard and the Marcs d'Or high school in Dijon, which also hosted the second day of the meeting. The seminar ended with a visit at the Stephen Liégeard high school, followed by a convivial time shared by all participants.

The seminar was also an excellent opportunity for the European partners to discover Dijon, the “Hospices de Beaune” museum and of course French gastronomy!
